Hipcycle launches in a little less than two weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring you a great selection of upcycled products. We’re going to have about 400 items in the housewares, furniture, office, and garden categories, and everything that we will offer is made out of materials that would have otherwise been headed to the landfill. Yup, it was at one point destined to be trash.
But this ain’t trashy stuff. No, everything you will see on Hipcycle only makes it onto the site if it is attractive, durable, and priced about the same as quality non-upcycled alternatives. You will be able to shop with confidence on Hipcycle knowing that everything you buy is a quality product that looks great. And here’s the kicker, you’re using your purchasing power to help the environment.
The site itself at www.hipcycle.com is going to emerge on October 1 with an entirely new look and feel. We’re using the latest and greatest in shopping cart technology, meaning your online experience will be easy, fun, and secure. One cool feature you will see will be the ability to browse by material used to make the product. Want to see everything made from chopsticks, bike parts, or glass? You’ll be able to do that. Pretty sweet, huh?
As far as the products themselves go, we’re going to have some really great stuff. We’re going to have oodles of beautiful picture frames made from reclaimed roofing and ceiling material, bike chains, and shipping pallets. They are a great way to showcase your favorite family pix.
Hipcycle is also going to carry a broad selection of doormats. With the winter mud season coming up, gabbing yourself a mat made of automobile tires, flip flops, or float rope, makes a lot of good sense. You’ll love it every time you come back home.
Upcycling really lends itself to the design of classy, beautiful, and functional furniture, and we’re going to have a great assortment. From side tables made of bike rims, to coffee tables made from reclaimed barn wood, to shelving made from factory-discarded furniture parts (yup, didn't need the parts, so they tossed them out!), you will definitely find something you can’t live without.
And we’ll be expanding the selection in the months and years ahead. If you or someone you know makes an upcycled something in one of our product categories that is attractive, durable, and reasonably priced, let us know by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you again for your support over the past few months as we have been preparing for our launch. You can sign up for our newsletter at www.hipcycle.com to stay up to date on the latest news and offerings at Hipcycle.
